Changing Landscape: Sculpture at the Eustis Estate Exhibit

Historic New England and the New England Sculptors Association presented Changing Landscape explored how sculpture has an impact on its environment and enhanced a visitor’s experience. The art became an integral part of a garden, started a path, or created a focal point. Visitors walked among the strategically placed sculptures and saw their surroundings in a new way. The theme and location of the show connected the past to the future and represented Historic New England’s commitment to landscape preservation.

More than eighty contemporary sculptures by members of NESA filled the grounds and the three galleries on the second floor of the Eustis Estate in Milton, Mass. The estate, in an eighty-acre picturesque setting at the base of the Blue Hills, is the perfect backdrop for art that used material related to landscape and the environment.

Exhibit Dates: October – November 3, 2019
