Modules are 3-d shapes that are the same size and design. I created an L-Block module based on cubes. The design has a double cube (cuboid) with a single cube like a step. Modules can be collected and positioned in many ways. Adding color improves the visual possibilities. My recent sculpture, Color and Form: Nature’s Balance, has 6 modules combined in 2 groups with chromatic (yellow, red, blue) and achromatic (white, gray, black) colors. The modules are positioned on a mosaic platform of polished aluminum plates to present a visual statement and an idea about how we perceive the space around us through color and form.
