Jill Jacobs

Jill Jacobs is an abstract metal sculptor based in Massachusetts. She transforms straight rods of steel into abstract forms that are both organic and geometric. She measures, cuts, and bends repeated shapes, and then assembles and fuses them together using her MIG welder. She considers her forms as personifications, and strives to share deeply human stories. Her creative practice enables a dialogue between her muses, the tangible, and the metaphysical. Jill’s sculptures have been shown in Newburyport, Marblehead, Lowell, and Salem.
