Matthew Bajor is an artist and engineer practicing his craft at the Artisan’s Asylum, a state-of-the-art community maker’s space in Allston-Brighton. Bajor’s collection of works includes both small sculptures of fine coldworked glass and large sculptures of metal and LEDs that spin, sparkle, and react. He uses glass, metal, light, and motion combined with traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge fabrication techniques to create works that inspire and engage those who interact with them. While attending regional Burning Man events around the country, Bajor was introduced and inspired by large works of art.
