I’m a reasonable person. Mostly.
My art life, however, is another story. It is the place where all the raucous adventure and emotional intensity takes over. It is all about life’s vagaries that happen with my relation to people, places, ideas and time.
In my art life I’m intrigued with all materials in all dimensions, especially materials that seem inherently opposite in nature.
I use various combinations of paint, ink, print, ceramics, glass, metal, stone, wood, cane, fabric, paper. . . and words.
Each piece I create has a subtext – messages or stories – that is sometimes a visual part of a piece, but always motivates the outcome of each project.
