Shawn Farley

My sculptures are composed from found objects, anchored by historic wood foundry molds that once shaped industrial metal castings. Their carved geometries establish a framework of positive and negative space through which additional materials are assembled, edited, refined, and painted allowing intention and chance to operate together. As facial structures emerge within these abstract forms, each work assumes an anthropomorphic presence that reflects themes of renewal, transformation, and reclaimed purpose.
