Stacy Latt Savage is a sculptor who works across media endlessly searching for meaning and structure through a studio practice signified by a love of making, an enchantment with raw material and a devotion to process and visual discovery. Her sculptures reflect a cultural anxiety and a vibrating unease, that she believes are the by-products of our rapid-paced, media-saturated, and turbulent culture. Her sculptures embody the inevitable struggle between order and chaos as Savage choreographs forms and shapes in an effort to compose what looks like to feel human.
