Don Schad

As a long time blacksmith I am interested in branching out into larger sculpture while trying to scale up or provide the same feel as traditional forging techniques. I prefer thicker elements that are forged to sufficiently to transform the material away from its original mill or industrial form into something completely new. The process and environment surrounding the development of a work are as important to me as the finished piece.
