Harvey Greenberg

My fascination with unusual shapes, an engineering background, and the challenges of getting clay to “agree” to what I want it to do, work together as I create objects from concept to reality. My work starts with dreams, sketches, random assembling of pieces and/or sometimes just play. As each piece develops, I follow whatever shape emerges, often taking the work in opposing directions from its original concept. I like that in some small way my art says something about who I am.
