Looking Back with 20/20 Vision— Injustices of 2020
August 1, 2021 - October 31, 2021
NESA asked artists to show how they responded to the unprecedented events and sociopolitical issues brought to the forefront in 2020 through their art. We have partnered with Historic New England to exhibit 25 pieces on the grounds of the Eustis Estate in Milton, MA. The works on display highlight issues like racial tension, gender equality, police brutality, climate change, immigration, illness and death, and the intense emotions associated with living through such a time. We hope these sculptures, nestled in the tranquil, bucolic landscape of the Blue Hills, will spark reflection and introspection in many minds so we may soon affect positive change in the world.
This outdoor show is open from dawn to dusk. Please visit the Eustis Estate website for further visitor info.
Congratulations to the artists selected!.
