The Hattiesburg Alliance for Public Art (HAPA) is pleased to re-launch its sculpture competition and exhibition
after a four-year hiatus from the COVID-19 pandemic with a call for entries for its 4th outdoor sculpture
competition.
Since its initial outdoor sculpture competition in 2016, HAPA has exhibited more than two dozen sculptures and
purchased four works for its permanent collection. For this 4th show, HAPA seeks nine to twelve striking outdoor
sculptures to be exhibited for two years, with installation occurring in March 2025 and removal in March 2027.
Sculptures will be exhibited in historic downtown’s parks and green spaces in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and a
purchase award will be granted for one sculpture.
