Tranquil was installed at Park Hill Orchard in East Hampton MA as part of their show: Art In the Orchard 2026.
Height: 10.33′ Width: 6.5′ Depth: 5′
Materials: Steel, Stainless Steel, brass, copper, wood
“Tranquil was created using many elements: stainless steel, steel, copper, and wood. The main wood piece was a tree that was wrapped with a vine, giving the log its distinctive form. The wood is treated using the ancient Japanese method called shou sugi ban, a particularly striking way of preserving wood by charring it with fire.
I imagined this piece placed in a garden or backyard, where the combination of steel, copper, and wood can evoke a calm, serene, and harmonious atmosphere, complemented by the gentle sound of a chime or cymbal ring.”
The Wave Two and Terrestrial Horizon were installed in Tamarac FL .

The Wave depicts a cresting wave crafted from rebar. Its dynamic and flowing texture captures the movement of water.
A polished stainless steel sun hangs suspended in the air, casting its glow over the waves. The sun’s rich silver color contrasts beautifully with the cool blue of the Waves.
It is designed to be viewed from multiple angles so that the viewer can appreciate the intricate details of the waves and the sun from every perspective.
