Addresses the critical approach to thinking from studio to public. Conversations center around the benefits of receiving critical attention on a regional and national level. Who reads reviews? How important are critical reviews to the whole career of an artist and what is an artist’s raisonne. Attending sculptors and speakers will examine the impact of reviews, artists’ current methods for achieving writers’ inquiry, catalogues, resume building, and best practices that lead to scholarly interest.
