The Mattatuck Museum is an art and regional history museum on the Green in downtown Waterbury, CT. Established in 1877 as the Mattatuck Historical Society, the museum now presents over 12 changing exhibitions per year. The museum collects and exhibits American art and cultural history – with a focus on the history of the Naugatuck Valley and the artists of Connecticut.
MIXMASTER is an exhibition that seeks to discover and recognize the talents of its artist members working in New England and the Tri-State region. Initiated to support and recognize contemporary art, MIXMASTER provides an opportunity for established and emerging artists to debut their most recent work, done in the last three years.
