Pheonix (height: 12 width: 12 depth: 12 feet) – 2023- 2300 lbs.
This piece was inspired by the spirit of hope we have seen and lived in as we all came out of the gloom and doom of Covid. This sculpture has a presence, and it begs the viewer to engage. One exciting aspect of Phoenix is a medley of different viewing angles. From the perspective of its front, it appears to be reaching for the sky. Viewed from behind, it seems to be landing. Passersby are strongly encouraged to walk all around, beneath, beside, and between its steel beams.
