Public Sculpture at Worcester Center for the Arts

We’re excited to be announcing the installation of a public sculpture project that will display outside of our location at 25 Sagamore Road in Worcester.

The piece will reunite over 30 artists that have (or are currently) served as faculty, visiting artists, or artist-in-residents at the Center. The participating artists will express their work by handcrafting an 18 inch, leaf-shaped piece from ceramic, glass, or metals. The materials used in this project will represent the studios that dwell within the Worcester Center for Crafts. Upon project completion, the combined pieces will symbolize a growing art community. The individually designed elements will be joined together and displayed to demonstrate the power of artists working together.

We are seeking contributions to support the artist stipend portion of this project. All donations will support artists with costs associated with materials and labor for the public sculpture.
