NESA member and beloved mentor, Peter T. Spampinato, 80, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Peter was the owner and operator of Capital Machine, but his passion for art and for his hobbies took him much further from the shop. He was an avid sculptor and was a part of a few organizations including New England Sculptors Association and Newburyport Art Association. After a safari trip many years ago, Peter started specializing in wildlife sculptures.
Pete was very generous in sharing his knowledge with younger sculptors and led the mentorship program for NESA.
