My sculpture is informed by a life-long fascination with the ocean while living along both the Maine and New Hampshire seacoasts. So that the viewer will be able to both perceive the movement that is indefinitely suspended as well as the natural dynamic or transient moments that are indefinitely suspended in a subtly recognizable form, I set as a goal for myself to capture those qualities in a steadfast medium.
